WHAT ARE THE PROCEDURES FOR A CAR HIRE? / WHAT KIND OF DRIVING LICENSE DO I REQUIRE TO DRIVE IN THE U.A.E. AND DOES IT HAVE TO BE AN INTERNATIONAL LICENSE?

  • For Residence

  1. Passport copy

  2. Valid Driving License copy

  3. Valid Credit Card Imprint as Security.

  • For Visitors

  1. Copy of Valid Passport & Entry Stamp page

  2. Copy of Valid International Driving License / G.C.C. License-(Gulf Cooperation Countries) / European / U.S.A. & Canada

  3. Valid Credit Card Imprint as Security.

WHAT IS THE MINIMUM PERIOD OF RENTAL?

  • The minimum rental period is 24 hours, after which he will be charged for an additional day. Rates are quoted in U.A.E. Dirhams and are subject to change without notice.

CAN I DRIVE THE HIRED VEHICLE OUTSIDE U.A.E.?

  • The hire vehicle is for use in the UAE only, unless special arrangements are made advance.

 

WHAT IS THE PROCEDURE OF IN CASE OF ANY ACCIDENT?

  • The Hirer, requested to notify the police immediately and not move to the vehicle until the police arrive at the scene in order to obtain a police a police report and inform the company so that an insurance claim can be made; provided he submits all the necessary Police/Court case papers to claim the same from the Insurance Co. Otherwise, the hirer will be responsible for the payment of all the damages as per the estimate.

NOTE :

  • Insurance Does Not Cover for U.A.E. Driving License, which is less than one year old.

  • The hirer will be liable for 10% of the claim, if the driver is less than 25 years old.

  • The vehicle could not be driven by people less than 21 years old.

WHAT DO WE DO IN CASE OF MECHANICAL FAULT?

  • The hirer must notify the company should any mechanical fault or accident occurs. He should then return the car to us for repairing. Hirer is not allowed to carry out any repairs without written permission from the company.

IS IT POSSIBLE TO DRIVE THE CAR HIRED VEHICLE BY MY FRIENDS OR ANY OTHER PERSON RELATED TO ME?

  • Hirer can request to add an additional driver, provided however a copy of the valid driving license & valid passport copy of the additional driver. However the hirer is responsible for the acts/omissions of the additional driver.
